Mocha’s Rescue Pet Photography Session

Mocha has found a great home! I am hoping to receive updates on how she is doing. We are so happy for her, she really got lucky!

Mocha was rescued from being euthanized last week by a very special friend of ours who does amazing work for homeless dogs and cats. She was transferred from Romona Animal Shelter to San Jacinto and would have been put sleep that day if Nina hadn’t gotten there in time. We are so glad she did. Mocha is the sweetest little thing, she is very playful and cute but not pushy or too shy. She looks you right in the face and waits to hear what you have to say. She very much seemed to be saying to us, “Sooo what are we going to do next??” Mocha is great with other dogs, cats and children. She is approximately 8 months old and is a corgi terrier mix. She has the most beautiful eyes.

She is currently at a foster home in Menifee but I can really see her fitting in with a family or an active couple that like to go out on adventures. Please feel free to share this blog post with friends and help us to find Mocha’s forever home soon. She certainly deserves it! Please email me at banyanphotos@gmail.com or call 951-265-0517

Motts Farms Pets and People Photography Session

Wow this one was really fun. Rachel and Daisey were so awesome. Rachel has so much poise and I really enjoyed photographing her and her best K-9 friend. This session took place mostly at the Motts Farm in Romoland (Ca). What a great backdrop and relaxed environment. Rachel’s dress was just perfect in the setting and she looked so gorgeous I didn’t want to stop photographing her. She was pretty amused by this and happy to do it! Later we finished up at what I call the “secret gate” a place I found while taking a shortcut. Think I’ll keep that location to myself for the time being (wink).

Rachel & her Pet Daisey the Laborador Retriever

Daisey the labrador decided she wanted a break and some water so Rachel and I went over to “The Gate” at sunset. It was perfect the light of the sunset was shining through and after we spent a few minutes admiring its craft work and architecture we ran out the rest of the day with her posing here. These photos were really great with the combination of such a pretty lady, her dress, the time of day and the killer backdrop. Love when it all comes together like that a professional photographer could not ask for more! Thank you Rachel and Daisey!

Family & Pet Photography Session Temecula

“Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole.” – Roger Caras

So many of us pet lovers can relate to that quote and I know that is the case for Becky and Mark. Not only is their business named after their cocker spaniel Karlie but they spend many of their weekends competing in agility trials and running their  beaded dog collars and made to order matching leashes business.

Becky, Mark, Karlie and Kaitlyn and I met up in Temecula and visited lake skinner for their pet photography session. The dogs were so cute and obediant and had fun running around the park. The location was a beautiful setting very much in harmony with the beauty of these two gorgeous and well loved pets! Thanks so much to Mark and Becky for their adventerous spirits which made this shoot really special. Cant wait to work with them again!

Fall Environmental Pet Photography Session

I really have to say this one was one of the funnest pet photography session I’ve ever done. And not only because there were people in them too, but because everything went so perfectly, the weather the moods, the timing. The dogs had a great time and so did we. My assistant (and husband) Joe and I showed up early to scope the scene. We found a wonderland of doggie fun, many of the residents meet here to let their dogs play. Let’s just say were in the right environment!

I was excited to photographs Sharon & Bud and their 3 bichons who are all adopted from rescues. Sharon who is the owner of Grannie’s Tea Cozie’s!  She’s recently lost over 50lbs walking is only getting started. Congratulations Sharon! It was great to spend time with you all and I can’t wait to see how much more you accomplish!

Escondido Agility Show – Pet Photography

We sure had a great time at the agility games on Sat in Escondido. I ran my Pet Photography Boothe with our friend Lisa while she taped agility games for participants. We met lots of neat new people and dogs and got to see some old friends from agility class. Tendonitis prevents Ami and I from competing too but this is only temporary and Ami is quite good at her agility! Below is a shot I took of a clever and cute little fellow named Frito. Frito was dumped in a trash can but saved and later adopted to two lovely ladies from Palm Springs he is currently in agility training and I got to snap a few shots of him while they looked at videos. For such a sad history he’s a friendly little guy and cute as can be. He also did great on his run and we are so happy for him, what a turn around, and kudos to all you folks who adopt little guys like Frito, they sure do deserve a chance for a good life too!
