Little Man Tito – Min Pin Session in Temecula!

Oh this little guy is so full of personality! Tito’s lovely owner had some concerns about how excited he becomes over folks and other dogs walking by, so we planned our session on the edge of the park where it was quieter. We ended up with surprise guests and guess what he did great! He was excited! But that was ok, because he was having so much fun and getting treats that our session took first place in his priorities, haha, it’s was very and extremely cute!

When I have sessions like this I love the fact that the pet photography turns out with a very lively feeling to it. Letting pets have fun is a great way to go, they really don’t necessarily HAVE to stand that still. I am of course always ready for the little moment when they do. I think we were all very pleased with this dog photography session. It certainly had all the elements I look for and I know my client loved the images so much as well. Meeting little Tito was certainly a pleasure and I’d predicted a dog named Tito would be. I hope to see them again sometime we can catch up!

Bonnie & Gino BFF’s Furrever

Bonnie & Gino BFF's Furrever

These two are just very close, and it is so obvious when you are with them! I really liked Gino, he is super layed back and has a great smile. I loved his pretty eyes too with a unique little fleck in it that stands out and gives him a special look that is all his. I think Gino did great especially since the park was rather busy that day and he was just interested in all that was going on without being nervous. I think was very into the treats! Fine with us, we had a nice walk and enjoyed the atmosphere and very pretty scenery and found some great spots that we had all to ourselves. I wasn’t sure how Gino would be feeling that day as he is in remission right now but he is doing great. Bonnie’s thoughtful fiancé Tim gifted her the session what a sweet guy. I think he get fiancé of the year award, hands down!

Here are a few more of the beautiful photos we took that day:

Pet Family Photo Session – Oceanside, Ca

banyanphotography-maggie

I have to say this was a pretty exciting session. While I normally leave to arrive at a pet photography session early, I did on this day not knowing that the freeway was closing down due to a brush fire! That said I really didn’t want to miss it so we ended 4WD off the freeway out of a huge mess (with some guidance from the authorities) and arriving at Oceanside beach in the nick of time. So I have to say despite the fact I was a wee bit stressed about the excitement, that soon turned into happiness at how pretty the photos were turning out. Maggie, the dachshund and her gorgeous owners looked and dressed great and we became celebrities of the beach as did our session! It was a fantastic sunset, creamy with luscious colors and it really just goes to show everything we put into these efforts is absolutely worth it! Can’t wait to go back again.

Pet Photography Session – Fairmont Park Riverside Ca

pet-photography-fairmont-park-riverside-5

First blog post of 2017! Last year was a blur of getting better from a wrist and shoulder injury while maintaining work and many responsibilities.  Despite all that I was still able to shoot some great sessions. This was my first time shooting at Fairmont Park in Riverside, Ca and my client was kind enough to meet me there since it was close to home. Her dogs Mika, Piper and Carli are older and having different health issues as well and we wanted to keep it fun and easy.

The park is sooo pretty and happily pet friendly and we all got a kick out of the little bridges and spots to sit and look out upon the water. The dogs all gave me great poses which was impressive considering all the smells and ducks that were running about. We had great treats but I know that wasn’t easy!

I want to make a special mention for Carli who very sadly is not with us anymore. This was her last photo shoot and it was an honor for me to do it. She was a sweet dog and really liked her. We were glad to give her one last fun day at the park. I know that is very much missed and am sorry we won’t get to see her again.

Family Session in Oceanside

This was such a great session because we centered it around fun! How much I love that I have no words for. We did it all, played in the grass, hiked, climbed rocks, climbed trees and even did some target practice. We finished up at Oceanside beach and enjoyed the most incredible sunset. Really it rocked our world. The boys were awesome and dad was so mellow and fun and up for it all.

I hope that we can all have as much fun as this every time we meet. Thanks guys can’t wait to hang out with you again, and you boys don’t grow up too quick!
